weekend sketch challenge

This is my attempt at doing Beate's weekend sketch. I wanted to send a card to some longtime friends who had us all over this weekend. We had a blast and a few beers! I love this Hannah image of Riley holding the beer. So, I thought it would be perfect to send it off before St. Pat's day comes next week.

I rotated the sketch to make it work for the image. The paper is all SU pumpkin pie, wild wasabi and dsp from creative license simply scrappin kit from Winter cattie. The "cheers to you" is from the SAB set lots of thoughts. I just used a stampin spot to ink up part of image. I used some cosmo glitter on shamrock. Tough area to get it completely filled in the smaller spaces, so I grabbed my white gel pen to outline it.

Now I have one more card to show you that my 10 year old son Quinton did for his teacher's aid. Her birthday was on Friday 3/7. They sent him home with construction paper to make a card, please................ So we went upstairs, I let him pick color scheme and a sketch and I think he did pretty well. I did the cutting for him but he did the rest.
