Fox and Friends stationary set

This is a project we did at our last demo meeting.  My up, up, upline Amy Czuba came up with this great 10 card note set using Stampin Up's note card set (107311, p 168 $ 5.95 for pack of 20).  A strip of sweet pea designer and fox and friends stamp set out of Occasion mini catalog.  Even a cute little box to hold all 10 cards.

Scrapbook share finally

I have a confession, I have not scrapped anything since September.  I know a scrapbooker is never caught up, but I have  the best intentions.  However, I have been procrastinating. So, I set a goal for myself to get one page (or 2 page spread) down a week or 3 a month to be nicer to myself.

Luckily, for me Late Night Stampers challenge was to do anything but a card.  A kick in my butt to finally do a page.  I kept it simple using some designer series paper from Holiday Occasion mini catalog that I never used up.  It has flocked snowflakes on it.  Maybe the snowflurries we had here this am, inspired me.  I kid you not- snow, but it is New England weather can change at anytime.  I did no stamping, but did use my punches and big shot.

One item scrapped, millions to go...

Hubby's birthday Card

I needed a card for husband's birthday, I followed along with Stamping 411 sketch challenge this week.  This is an old retired set from Stampin Up called born to ride which I embossed in black, I am excited in new mini they have a single motorcycle stamp to buy.  The designer series paper is sweet pea and happy birthday is from a set called think happy thoughts.  I used my 5 in 1 tool to distress the edges and my jumbo eyelet is sightly off center.

Birthday celebration

I came up with this for an upcoming mother-daughter stamp camp with the theme of birthday.  The camp will be held Saturday April 10 at 10 am open to girls and moms 8 and up.
they  will make:
1) a gift bag and tag
2) gift card holder
3) birthday card

I centered the class around my current favorite designer paper in Stampin Up Occasion mini called sending love speciality.  It is glittery and embossed with fun color combo of real red, pretty in pink, chocolate chip and very vanilla.

Easter card shares

This cute little stamp Chocolate bunny is only $7.95 in Stampin Up's occcasion mini catalog.   And he is low in calories vs. the real chocolate bunny.  These are not my designs, we made them at our last demo meeting.  My up, up, up line Amy Czuba had us to the easel card on top.
And my friend Robin Johnson designed the gate fold type card below.
Always fun to get together and stamp with fellow demos and friends.

one card design- two different sentiments

I needed a card for a stamp a stack to serve dual purpose of either sympathy or get well.  I can't take credit for little heart idea on band-aid, I got idea from someone on late night stampers (I apologize for not giving credit to original idea creator).  I used embossing folder for Big Shot and they had choice of either wellness wishes or thoughts and prayers stamp sets from Stampin Up

All in the family meets American Idol

This is a card I am doing for party on Thursday- the hostesses wanted to do a Stamp a stack and cover mostly birthdays.

so, this is my girl card using All in the family and Stampin Up's SAB set Vintage Label and the scallop trim border.  I was pretty proud of myself, I did this without using my stamp-ma-jig.  I do however think I will use it for guests- less paper waste and mistakes.

sale-a-bration samples and challenges

I made this card for some friends who just bought a new house.  This is a sale-a-bration set called good neighbors  the designer paper is also a sale-a-bration item you can earn for free from Stampin Up called welcome neighbor.

I combined the SCS sketch challenge this week with late night stampers challenge which was to use designer paper.  I also finally worked on using scallop trim border and corner together thanks to Gretchen Barron's tutorial- but I still had to play around to get it to line up, but much less frustration.

Vintage Vogue Variety

This is a card I did for a card class last week.  I used Vintage Vogue which I heard will be available in new idea book and catalog too.  I also chose an old stand by Sincere Salutations so my guests could pick whatever phrase they needed from birthdays, get well, thinking of you to thanks so much!  I also used vintage vogue jumbo wheel on eggplant strip that I tore and crumbled with my hand to give it a more distressed look.

The idea a cards for "stamp a stack" or workshops it should take your guests about 10-15 minutes to complete since all the card stock is precut, they just stamp and assemble.

Don't stop believing

I used sponged background technique to create a scene for my stop sign from retired set called  "It's a sign".  I embossed the sign in red embossing powder and added some fine red glitter to make it sparkle.

I have a friend going through breast cancer and wanted to send her a card to cheer her up and show support.

Late Night Stampers group challenged us to send out 30 cards this month, so I have down 3 so far- more to go!
