Long time no post, I know.... but I am back. I took a little time off from stamping this summer but I am back in the groove again.</div>

This a halloween swap I created using <b>kidoodles</b> stamp set from Stampin Up. Tough to tell from photo but I embossed mask in black embossing powder and cut out and popped up on dimensional. I did not have any current halloween dsp, so I created my own with card stock and new embossing folder, called Chevron.Kathy Whttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07030823708634821157noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-483871382507063635.post-58215644267657392202012-06-01T06:17:00.001-07:002012-06-01T06:17:37.133-07:00New Cattie is here!check out my side link to view the new catalog on-line! I made this card for a baby shower inspired by new ribbon in the occasion mini pleated satin ribbon- so fun. The stamp set is baby bundle from Stampin Up. I haven't used stamps to make a background in forever and I use to do it all the time when I first started stamping. A tip is to stamp in groups of three making triangles so it looks random.Kathy Whttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07030823708634821157noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-483871382507063635.post-91373210055862736882012-04-04T04:39:00.000-07:002012-04-04T04:39:25.367-07:00Love your brayer<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiz-TD6XU0OvxsUXPjss4ZaIR5vJJYpDbU_a_mUjbwm0sUhbUBv5gkmmJEE6LvKLB3xx4Vz4dEYvEmpCyIHBK_wL6_odSKgFBpKMipS-vZzV6NIR9OCNdci3KUsDOnEUxSYX5LW-GSuBk4/s1600/DSC_0001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="303" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiz-TD6XU0OvxsUXPjss4ZaIR5vJJYpDbU_a_mUjbwm0sUhbUBv5gkmmJEE6LvKLB3xx4Vz4dEYvEmpCyIHBK_wL6_odSKgFBpKMipS-vZzV6NIR9OCNdci3KUsDOnEUxSYX5LW-GSuBk4/s320/DSC_0001.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>This is a card we did at workshop last week. With holidays fast approaching here are two fun ideas.<br />
<br />
1) K cup holder. This pattern I bought from Lauren Meader (she is super talented) with great ideas.<br />
<br />
I just printed pattern and then used some simply scrapping pieces to decorate.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKY-x_WIrDjUMN_d0CjRmocHbjWys9SrvgINdy_hO3FOo3m0KWdkCtQI-Rr6foGEU_wwVoPbzcg3GJ7HWBIievwHnamJOjUxPOUyFlFHrfUxO3had7thI0X0mZ1Yzx0MpN13BXRM6jp3A/s1600/kcup.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKY-x_WIrDjUMN_d0CjRmocHbjWys9SrvgINdy_hO3FOo3m0KWdkCtQI-Rr6foGEU_wwVoPbzcg3GJ7HWBIievwHnamJOjUxPOUyFlFHrfUxO3had7thI0X0mZ1Yzx0MpN13BXRM6jp3A/s320/kcup.jpg" width="295" /></a></div>2) I took some trident gum and copied the box pattern to make a santa suit.<br />
<br />

And yes, lots more embossing. I admit, I am a little addicted. <br />
<br />
For top note, I embossed in clear and them brayered over it with crumb cake ink. I embossed the sentiment area in new pewter embossing powder and then embossed the butterflies with cherry cobbler and melon mambo embossing powders. It was some simply scrappin kits and precut cardstock, ribbon, etc... I got this precut card stock and figured it worked well with Christmas theme. It almost was like "chopped" for stamping- here are your ingredients come up with a card.<br />
<br />
Luckily, the snow much fun stamp set image fit pretty close in the white. I used this card for a recent stamp a stack. I wanted to showcase some new Holiday mini products:<br />
1) punched out "snowball" in silver glimmer paper<br />
2) used dazzling details around snowman bodyKathy Whttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07030823708634821157noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-483871382507063635.post-53615699487737349842011-10-15T15:03:00.000-07:002011-10-15T15:03:52.698-07:00morning cup tea-riffic<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkUqDIr2Jwc12VOVab3ZkPDKL5RHYusin6yJXqrqon6UOg23_HKd_y1-mr-9iVc4TmuDnFXku9FHnaCT1kkLaCPYP9ojYdkAaccf2gh1x9MZ_wtdM0zl1mVMfqH3WIs0VVqp4XzgvsJCc/s1600/teariffic.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkUqDIr2Jwc12VOVab3ZkPDKL5RHYusin6yJXqrqon6UOg23_HKd_y1-mr-9iVc4TmuDnFXku9FHnaCT1kkLaCPYP9ojYdkAaccf2gh1x9MZ_wtdM0zl1mVMfqH3WIs0VVqp4XzgvsJCc/s320/teariffic.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>I love the designer series paper in Stampin Up's Holiday mini catalog called "spice cake". I used it for my inspiration for this card using stamp set called Morning cup. I water colored the images using markers and did a little paper piercing.
