Royal blog tour-Motorcycle madness

Welcome to Royal blog tour and my stop featuring a stamp from Summer mini catalog.  Motorcycle (117657 for $8.95).   The single sets are a great option and I had to have this one, as I have my stamps my husband has his motorcycle.  Plus good for those masculine cards.   My first card, I chose to do reflection technique (you can find tutorial on SCS).
I also used it for scrapping my hubby's motorcycle trip he goes on each year (I should get convention of this don't you think?)
This also features designer series paper travel journal (117156, $9.95) and silver foil smooch spritz on the big shot letters.  Both new products in summer mini.

a card using same dsp and a tumbled tile to be used for coaster for hubby's desk.

Also having some fun with big shot and pepsi can, I embossed it in silver embossing powder to make Christmas ornament.

But Wait there is more! (1)  I am offering blog candy- cute hostsess set "love bugs".   Just leave a comment with your email address and become a follower.  I will draw it on May 2nd. (2) don't forget to look for clues along the tour for big shot drawing!

Cheers

Quick card today, I was playing with some new designer paper in the Stampin Up summer mini that comes out on May 1st called island oasis.    I wish I was on an island oasis today, cold (40 degrees) wet and windy here in Massachusetts- I could use a hot tropical island breeze.

Anyways, once I saw this paper with the cute umbrellas I thought it would pair well with cheers to you set, I also used my mover and shaker die for big shot.

Two step stampin 411 style

My gosh, where has month gone!  April Stampin Up celebrates two step stampin- and I am finally getting around to posting a sample as well as do a challenge.  This is Stamping 411 sketch challenge this week.   I also got to use some of the Sweet Pea designer paper before it is gone April 30th.  I used Stampin Up's trendy trees which is 20 % off this month.

Tough to see, but I cut out and put the tree tops on dimensionals.  The sentiment is stamped on the card base and I punched out through the two layers with word window.  I would have done a close up shot for you, but I tried to squeeze stamping in between my boys baseball games!

Simply scrapping snowboarder

Yeah!  I got around to some scrapbooking again.   This was for my older son and I had to cover last two years and get mulitple photos one layout.

Thank goodness for Stampin Up's simple scrapping kit- this is just jingle kit, I used the extreme snowboarder and big shot alphabet and I was good to go.  Working on my goal of doing a few pages a month, now to get to baseball from last year, basketball, football, Halloween and Christmas before those holiday roll around again!

Cheers to you sweet pea style

Wow, did not realize I have not posted in almost a week.   Here is a card I did at recent stamp-a-stack.   I needed a card to be either male or female.

I decided to use Stampin Up's cheers to you set as there are many choices for cocktails.   I used the designer series paper- sweet pea in Spring Occasion mini (only available until April 30) for my color inspiration.

I used the big shot banner big die to get larger scallop circles to accomodate the 1 3/4 inch circle punch.

Color Renovation

Last week Stampin Up announced a color renovation for new catalog- revamping the 48 colors to 40.  I am loving that they brought back some old "in colors" such as river rock, baja breeze and wild wasabi.

Leaving us in July will be 31 colors: basic brown, going gray, glorious green, gable green, green galore, yoyo yellow, only orange, pink passion, pixie pink, orchid opulence, lovely liliac, brillant blue, close to cocoa, creamy carmel, really rust, cameo coral, summer sun, bordering blue, brocade blue, ballet blue, taken with teal, handsome hunter, pale plum, blush blossom, apricot appeal, barely banana, mellow moss, sage shadow, almost amethyst, lavender lace and kraft.

I am most sad about: taken with teal and coral cameo and kraft

most excited about: new kraft color called crumb cake, new in color in peach hope it makes up for coral, seeing some old in colors come back.  It was time for an update and I am excited for new in fashion colors trends and seeing the color combinations.

okay one last vendor fair item to share with you.  I thought they were pretty cute, just used punch art and attached them to jumbo paper clips.  I only sold one, so they came home with me.  I still like them, might be used for future door prizes.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone!  Just a quick Easel card share for you using Stampin Up's Good Egg stamp set.  Really easy to make-
the dimensions are:
1) cs is 8 1/2 x 4 1/4 for main piece, score it at 4 1/4 and 6 3/8, first fold card in half- then second score line opposite of 4 1/4 score line to make a little triangle
2) the base piece goes on triangle piece, that measurement is  4 1/4 x 4 1/4

Sorry I haven't posted or checked in since Tuesday-  I am busy crafting for a craft fair I am doing next weekend.  I will post some of those creations throughout week.
