calendar cutie

This is a calendar idea I saw on Splitcoasters. I did this project with my son's 3rd grade class for Christmas gifts for parents. I donated all the supplies, I did not want the teacher taking money out of her pocket.
They did really well with it, I did change out the chipboard piece for just picture matted on some cardstock as their photos were much smaller than the chipboard opening. I just had them use glue sticks to adhere the paper, I helped sand the edges. Now that I got my bind-it-all, I am thinking on making some more calendars!

Such a nice idea for x-mas gifts for the parents. Something they will use everyday with a photo of their child also!

Love the calendar. You must be such a sweet, sweet person to donate the supplies. And...like Jennifer said, this will be something they use everyday.

You must be a saint to go in and do such a big project with the kids! I don't want them touching my things...there mine mine mine!

questions:
- did you use your bind it all on this? i can't tell.
- did you use chipboard for the backing? which ones?

thanks so much!
