The SBS 24 challenge this week was to do a friendship card. I also wanted to pull out some stamp sets that will be retiring soon from Stampin Up and sadly have been sitting on my shelves unused.
This is one of my favorite sets to watecolor- "seaside sketches" it has so many pretty images, great to use on coaster tiles. My watercolor method was to use markers. If you haven't tried it, one of my favorite techniques! You just scribble your markers on top of clear plastic stamp case and pick up with aquapainter. Another reason why I love my markers! Also, I used "paisley background" stamp set. So many great backgrounds are retiring too! I hope that means a lot new ones!!! I used it on the photo corner as well. The sentiment is level one hostess set from Fall-Winter catalog. You still have until January 18th to order and then they are gone forever!

I just love this set and it's one of the ones that I don't have. I wish I was wherever that person is dipping their toes in the water :) We are in for more snow tomorrow :)~
