say it with pretties in pink

Congrats to #2- Tiffany Bauer who won the blog candy, my son who's birthday is 8/31, drew the winning number. Tiffany send me your home address and I will send the package of Washington Apple to you.
thanks to all who left comments!!!

We had a busy holiday weekend, so no time to post. I do have some thank you cards I made for customers that placed an order at my open house. I was playing around with so many scallops set and also some of the pretties. I recently did an embellishment share, and these customers were still unsure about how to use them all.

I honestly can say, I am not a pink girl. The only pink I have in my wardrobe is my pink red sox hat.

However, I am really loving this new pirouette pink in the new in colors. And what does not go with chocolate chip??? This one I just took the prettie (silk flower) and smooshed it in my pirouette pink ink pad with my bone folder. I let dry over night (but you can use your heat gun if you are impatient). Pretties can be a little tricky to adhere, so I just used a rhinestone brad that comes with the kit and pierced it through the ribbon.
This is one I stepped it up a little and used the hat pin and some more beads!

I LOVE pink!! It's my favorite color! The way you got the flower to attach to the ribbon with the brad is a great idea - looks like it is floating.
But the hat pin takes the cake for me. I love the extra pearls you added and the color variations in the flower lend it a soft, delicate feel.
Thanks for sharing!
