Bear for Beate

Yeah Beate is back, I wasn't able with holiday weekend to do her sketch challenge. However, I got back from Tami White's Demo extravaganza featuring Glenda Travelstead, (got great info and make and takes btw) and my husband and boys were still out. So, I quickly went up to my stamp room and had time to play with her sketch.

This is a set on special this month for 15 % off. I have been wanting to ink this set up, so I was glad I had a challenge to get mojo going. I also was inspired to try watercoloring with markers mentioned at event today. If you never have done it-sooo easy. Just scribble your markers onto your stamp case and pick up with aquapainter.

I did flip the side layer to left side vs. right side because I wanted to have the bear spray the mosquito's and not his armpit.

recipe:
cs: kraft, rust, vanilla, chocolate chip
ink; stazon brown, creamy carmel and SU markers.
stamp set: under the stars
access: twill ribbon, vintage brads, 1 1/4 and 1 3/8 circle punch

Cute card!!! Those skeeters scare me; we don't have many here, but for some reason (probably more rain than normal) they're out in force this year. My new neighbor said she got West Nile, so I'm really leery of being out among those skeeters now! ;-)
