Watercolor shells

I feel like I have been going mock 10 with my hair on fire lately, so no time to post or check out my friends blogs. Hope to catch up later this week, after I put the fire out. Also, I was lacking mojo or inspiration.
Late night stampers challenge this week was to use your "last chance" list stamps. Heck, I started that last week. However, this is my absolute favorite set-"seaside", the only one that made me tear a little.

I had a "slap my head" moment I could use this set like I did for the watercolor roses that everyone has been using fifth avenue floral to do, and off to my stamp room I went. I ran the creamy Carmel through my big shot using distressed textured plate. The sentiment is also from last chance list-big bold birthday, I just used a marker to omit the rest of the stamp and then used my small oval punch. I even pulled out some old hodgepodge hardware, as I am a confessed although reforming hoarder, I thought it went well with twill ribbon.

Beautiful color scheme. I wish I had gotten this set and played with it before it retired.

This is gorgeous Kathy! That technique looks awesome with those shells! Love the colors you used! Way to go using some of that hoarded HPH =).

So pretty Kathy! Great idea to use this set for the reinker splash technique.
