time for a challenge

I can't believe I have not participated in SCS challenge since January. Maybe I just needed a different challenge besides cards. Maybe I just needed the blast of Spring we had here this past weekend- it was 65 degrees. Of course we got snow and freezing rain, yesterday so snap back to reality as I had to scrap ice off my car.

Anyways, I did the Try a new technique on SCS. This was to do a treat purse, TCL211.

It was super EASY! You can find Julie's directions HERE.

I chose to make an Easter one, using just punches. The base is textured so saffron, handles certainly celery and the dsp is delicate dots- still available for Sale-a-bration through the end of this month.

I used bashful blue grosgrain ribbon to close up purse and filled it with Jelly beans. Because (gasp...) I gave up chocolate candy for Lent.
