Who lives in pineapple under the sea?

I saw Tana's Spongebob card, I thought I could simplfy it a bit and forgo legs and such. But her card totally rocks and inspired me to play! I was thinking it would be a fun card to do for a card class. I think his mouth should be closer to his nose and eyes- but this was my first shot at it!

1) crushed curry through big shot using impression pad 5 1/4 x 4 and then I sponged it with crushed curry ink.
2) I used my scallop edge punch, around the sides and added 1/2 adn 3/4 inch circles that I also sponged
3) eyes: 1'"whisper white, 1/2" of ballet blue and 1/4 inch black
nose: small oval punch folded over

A bone to pick!

Wow, tough to show a scanned white card on white background~ This is a card I came up with for a workshop when hostesses wanted to focus on upcoming holidays. Unfortunately, the guests wanted more all occassion cards! No worries, the Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are going to her as her hostess gift!
This is the twick or tweet set and Night and day speciality dst from Holiday mini. I love this set because it has some "pun" sayings, my type of humor.

Extreme birthday

I apologize that I cut the card off in scan. Again another 10 minute quick card that I needed for my son's friend.

This uses Extreme Snowboard (item 115177 for only$8.95) and extreme elements for the background. I used my 5 in one tool to rough up the edges of cardstock.

Autumn Birthday

Sorry, I have not posted in a few days. I was running out of memory on my computer and had delete and move some things before I uploaded some new photos.

I saw this video, on Tami White's blog about color washing.
I decided to case her card and add to it by using the birthday hat from sock monkey set and add a sign using teeny tiny wishes and new punch.

Born to Ride

I needed a card for a 40th birthday party yesterday for an avid motorcycle rider (he owns about 15 bikes).

I literally had about 10 minutes to do it, so I scanned the gallery at SCS and found this card.

And I finished this card in 6 minutes!

411 Saturday challenge

Since kiddos are back in school, I made a challenge to myself to try to do 2 challenges per week, to keep mojo going. I prefer sketch challenges, as they are a great jumping off point.

Stamping 411, has great easy sketches and show a lot of beginner techniques on their site. I do admit, this week was a bit of a challenge.

I decided to go with the flow instead of thinking outside of the box. I chose to do a house and use a stamp set that has yet to see ink (yikes!). The stamp set is All in the Family. I even broke out my textured plates for my big shot, right down to polka dot background in sketch. It is tough to see on red background. I sponged my roof to get more details of checked background.
