Baby Bundle

I participated in Late night stampers swap- called "Convention pity party swap".  Stampin Up's convention starts tomorrow- and sadly I could not attend this year.  Swapping is one of the best parts of it!  So, luckily I will have some fun postal mail with some swaps to look at.

I'm back because I care!

I am BACK!  I made some of these cards to thank some of my friends who brought dinner over or took my boys for the day to keep them entertained.

As I was still in recovery mode I wanted to do some quick cards.

I used Stampin Up's Because I care  level I hostess set in new 2010-11 Idea book and catalog.  Playing with some new toys I also used new in color markers concord crush and pear pizzazz to color in flower. Simple card just used whisper white for base and ran top  of card through big shot using vintage wallpaper embossing folder.

The new idea book and catalog goes live today!  New colors, stamps and accessories!  My personal fav is new bling rhinestones and pearls!

Update- my surgery went well, the mass removed was benign.  However, it will be a good two weeks before I will be stamping again- just resting and recovering.

It's a thought

I used it's a thought hostess set from Stampin Up and embossed it in black.  Then I finally broke into my presto patterns designer series paper and ran a brayer over it.  It comes totally white with embossed images- very fun to do!

I kept it fairly simple design as I was in need of a quick card for a friend who got a new job.

Extreme birthday thank you and posting news

I had customer order for some 10 year old birthday thank you cards.   As most 10 y.o. boys don't like to write everything out- the fill in the blank were the way to go.

I used Stampin Up's Simple birthday thanks, and just marker to just ink the words and not the whole cupcake.

My color theme was to use up retiring cardstock before June 30th- This is dusty durango for base and then bordering blue, mellow moss, pumpkin pie and night of navy.

Note to readers- sorry I have not been posting regularly.  I have been having some health problems that require surgery next week.  So between appointments, tests and trying to get my house and life in order before recovery- It has not left much time for stamping.   I hope as I feel better I will be able to check in on all of my blog roll friends and be able to stamp too.

card for friend moving

I two good friends moving at end of the month, I used this retired Ronald McDonald house set to make them a card.  The set is called heart & home, I watercolored it with watercolor crayons and water color paper.

I got my preorder, but have had no time to play with it yet.  I did organize my new ink pads by color families.

bouncing brayer

I was trying out bouncing brayer technique,  this was my second go at it but I just used one color.  I am somewhat please with myself, but it does take some practice.

I was making some end of year cards for some male teachers using Stampin Up's extreme guitar.

Sorry, I have not been regularly posting or checking in to blog rolls- so much going on this time of the year, leaves very little time for stamping!
