So, I thought I would scan some pages of my favorites so far...
(you can click on it to enlarge it)
2) all in the family accessories too- I don't have the all in the family set but after seeing these accessories, I am definately adding to my list. I have two boys that do Karate (one is black belt and one is second degree brown) and they both play guitar.
Some of my other favorite stamps sets are-
Fifth avenue floral, special blessing (finally a set for first communion and baptism), hit the road, sip by sip and totally tool.
I also am psyched for some of the new accessories- I love the new chocolate chip brads in large and small size! The fine glitter in chocolate, olive, pink, aqua, large heart punch, rockabilly dsp, simply scrappin hoppy memories.
Oh and the cordory buttons! see.....
Finally, one last favorite item- under $10 page. They have some kits to make 4 cards (stamp, and spot) for $10! and some single sentiment stamps!

Anyways, to my reason why I have an aversion to sewing. When my son was 2 (about 9 years ago), I tried to make him a telly tubby costume for Halloween. That fleece put me over the edge and the machine has been in the closet since then.
So, fast forward to today- I used faux stitching by paper piercing around the squares and then using a white gel pen. The stamps are from the new Stampin Up Spring and Summer catalog. Which goes live today- check my website later today to view catalog on line.
They are both hostess sets that you can earn when you host a qualifying workshop. I am currently booking for February and March, and it is sale-a-bration time! Earn free sale-a-bration sets with a $50 purchase.

These are some pages I did about 2 weeks ago. I actually got about 11 pages done. Although some I just needed to add photos to them.
I used one of my favorite Stampin Up products- simply scrapping kits. This is Boho blend, and I thought the colors would be great for some summer photos. This is our day at Water Wizz a local water park. I did use a the jumbo wheel swirly and a sissix alpha through my big shot.
This is at Cape cod during our summer vacation. I totally just used their layout on the front picture of the kit. Another great resource of these kits.
This the boys at Mayflower beach in Cape cod. This was one our favorite things to do is to go to beach after dinner in early evening to fly kites, go crabbing and baseball/football when it is more quiet at beach.
I did a little stamping with the swirls, but again this a copied layout from the front of the kit.
The best part is I still have a ton of stuff left to make more layouts, cards or 3-D items!
Maybe these summer photos will put a little warmth in your day, it's freezing here!!!! One of these years I will make my husband book a tropical vacation for February break~

Okay, I must admit this whole papercrafting trend of birds, freaks me out a little bit. I like the cute penquins, maybe an owl, but the rest is just not my personal taste.

I used kwerner color inspiration for today and scs sketch challenge- so I had some ideas to get started. The color combo was ruby red ( I substituted riding hood red), pretty in pink, pumpkin pie and whisper white.
I did use some prints pip dsp for panels, tough to see. The stamp set is fresh cuts, a set I got on special last June and never really use. I used my sponge daubers to sponge on pretty in pink and pumpkin pie over the image. I used designer label punch and hardware to complete the card.
I realized yesterday I did not have many adult women birthday cards in my stash- so decided I needed to work on building it up. It was a quick one, but a great break from housework!
Blog candy alert-Kerry, is celebrating her one year blog-oversary and is giving away great prizes check it out!

So, yesterday I grabbed some chipboard coasters that came with my bind-it-all and decided to play. I covered it is some retired dsp in case I made mistake! I thought I would make a little book for DH for valentine's day, fill it with why I love him. Procrastinator is not one of the reasons!
